Hello Everybody,
I’m in the middle of week 3 with Dean Holland’s Starting With Marketing coaching program. So far, what a journey this has been. Everyday I’m learning a lot of great new information that will be very helpful moving forward. I had a few bugs to deal with after my first post and that is why this one is so far down the road from the other post.
So, let’s do a quick recap of what Dean has presented thus far. Let me first state that Dean is really an amazing guy! He has already done several webinars for us. Starting with his very first introductory webinar, he usually holds them at 5:00PM EDT. That is 10:00PM GMT. Dean lives in the UK. That means he’s starting out imparting information to us near the middle of the night for him. What a guy! He doesn’t sound tired either! You can hear the exuberance and enthusiasm in his voice, each and every time you listen to him speak. Dean, I can tell you are excited about what it is you are doing and it is great to feel your positive attitude! It makes it easier for us newbies to believe in what we are embarking on.
During his first webinar, Dean gave us an overview of what was to come and one Hell of a pep talk. I know I came away feeling uplifted by it. He told us to set up a blog. He talked about: aligning ourselves with him, mindset and helping people, the importance of planning and taking action.
Dean also outlined the modules his course would provide:
#1 The ‘BBB” formula
#2 Social Slaughter
#3 Traffic Tanks
#4 List Lingo
#5 World Wide Winners
#6 Screen Queen/King
He then went on to describe some of the details of each module.
‘BBB’ is The Basic Building Block Formula. This is all about getting hosting, a domain name, setting up a blog and getting it online, and of course introducing yourself to the world, via your blog.
Social Slaughter is all about the power of Social Media. This is very important stuff, these days!
Traffic Tanks is all about getting ‘TRAFFIC’. Something we all need to be concerned about. What is it? What kind of traffic do we want? Tactics for getting that traffic. By the way, I just finished this module.
List Lingo is all about why we need a list, how to build one and how to get it to work for you.
World Wide Winners is about putting all the previous modules together so that each of us, Dean’s students, will become one, a winner, that is!
Screen Queen/King is all about video marketing. What it is , how to use it and the added power it brings you in the internet marketplace.
Two more things I want to mention about Dean’s first webinar:
He introduced us to his mantra: Believe and Achieve! Those are some really powerful words!
He gave us a three-step plan:
1 Position Yourself with Me
2 Follow Along with each Module
3 Take ACTION on what I show You
Sounds like good advice for our future success, don’t you think?
We have been moving along at a really good pace. Each time we are presented with a new module, there is a follow-up webinar, so we can ask Dean questions and discuss what we have just learned.
My fellow students are eager, friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful. Dean has set up a series of forums for him and us to keep in touch with each other and that is working out really well.
So, if you missed out on this one, I would definitely encourage you to consider becoming one of Dean Holland’s future students!

Trudi,
Thanks for the UK weights and measures lesson! Very illuminating!
Mike
Huddson,
Hang in there, Brah! We’ll all get through this!
Mike:-)
Hi Michael,
You seem to know more modules about Dean than me. I didn’t even know the next module would be about list building. I was complaining to Dean about very slow progress as I wasn’t in the best set of mind(as u know Lucky died). But now looking at the remaining modules I’m eager to look forward to the rest as we should have learned much much more and we can be on our way to our own online success.
Huddson
Hey Mike

Hi Michael,
I agree. Dean is a great guy. I mentioned also in one of my posts that he was exhausting everyone’s questions before he ended the conference call. That says a lot in my opinion. Nice blog post. Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks,
Ed

Hello Michael
We all start from nowhere and go to anywhere we want. It all depends on our mindset. My blog had some issues also and it still needs work so you are not the lone ranger. It is coming along well and keep on keepin on.
