I’ve been busy with so many things that I have neglected to keep up with informing you on this blog. So, let’s get started! In Dean Holland’s List Lingo Module, he talks about, what else, the steps you have to take to build a list of people who will want to hear from you and buy from you. This module is done via a series of 14 videos. That is a whole lot of information to digest. And there is a whole lot to know.
In the first video, Dean gives a brief introduction to what he is going to talk about in the rest of List Lingo.
Video Number 2 is all about Autoresponders! What they are, some good ones to use, and just how to use this important service. He talks about the process of double opt-in, whereby, you put something on your blog or website and someone signs up to get it. This something can be a newsletter or a free gift. Anyway, after someone chooses to sign up for your information, they have to confirm that it is okay for you to send them info. This is the reason it is called double opt-in. You are getting them to say yes, twice! That way, they cannot accuse you of spamming them.
In Video Number 3 -The Money Is Not In The List-Dean explains something very important: The Money is in the relationship that you have with your list.
You need to:
• Give Value
• Help People
• Give Them Free Offers

That IS where the money is!

• The Best product is one of your own.
• You can purchase PLR products.
• Use someone else’s product, if allowed.
Bottom Line—Your first message to the subscriber must be good or you’ve lost them forever!

But, that is the very cool thing about Dean Holland! He takes you by the hand and walks you step-by-step through the process, until you get all your ducks in a row, so to speak, so you can have a chance to get going and get profitable on the internet!

Were you on the last Dean Holland webinar. Ed Rubi put together a cool little Excel spreadsheet that makes it a lot faster to sign up to several giveaways w/out having to do a whole lot of extraneous typing. You just need to take some of his descriptions and reword them to make them your own. Drop Ed a line, if you are interested.

Just 2 so far–SensationalGiveaway and Milo Giveaway–still getting that whole process down–I paid the upgrade (12 bucks or so) and I think I have one person so far…..my list is at 18 people. Feeling pretty good about how others have done well with the giveways so persistence will pay off.
